Maryam was born in Mashhad, Iran, and developed an early passion for Persian poetry, music, and visual arts. In her twenties, she moved to Sweden, where she balanced her artistic pursuits with a career in the IT industry. In 2021, she achieved a lifelong ambition by studying Fine Arts at the prestigious Lorenzo Di Medici Art School in Florence, Italy.

Her fine arts education provided her with a comprehensive skill set, including ceramics, etching, and the techniques of Renaissance and Baroque painting. Maryam's artistic practice primarily focuses on oil painting, mixed media, and watercolor. Her work is characterized by a vibrant and ethereal color palette, often conveying a dreamlike quality. Additionally, she creatively integrates ancient Persian iconography with contemporary abstract painting, creating a unique fusion of historical and modern artistic expressions.
